how great is it to get books as gifts? i feel like it's the best present you could ask for....choosing what book to give as a gift requires such thought and insight into that person. i recently bought a very fabulous friend a very fabulous book. "dolce vita style" by amazing imprint assouline. this fine woman is stylish already but can't wait to see how she incorporates fellini-esque flair into her wardrobe!

welcome to le beau temps

i wasn't too stoked on writing a blog but given my addiction to facebooking and other peoples' blogs (most notably epiclylaterd, the sartorialist, oh joy and so much to tell you) it seems like it's time. plus maybe this will appease luana. this will just be a place where i can write about things that excite me. like fashion! food! travel! design! books! film! doggies! music! art! journalism!

so if you like wacky randomness, this is probably the place to be. we'll see how long this holds my interest. i am a gemini afterall. love to love you.
